Stop Bruce Harrell From Ripping Up Union St Bus/Bike lane

Seattle DOT spent $144m to build the RapidRide G along Madison and one of the key upgrades included a new bus lane and bike lane on Union St at 12th, Madison, and Union. This was included to improve reliability on Rt 2 and 13 buses, improve cyclist safety, and work towards the city's climate goals

Bellevue Bruce is now living up to his name by trying to quietly rip up this feature because wealthy business owners and people driving from Bellevue complained to him

Not only does this harm transit users and cyclists in Seattle, it also gives the Trump Administration an excuse to claw back the millions in federal funds given to the project, potentially leaving Seattle tax payers with an $80.5m bill. All of this has been done without public input
