Tell networks, including FOX, CNN, and MS NOW, to stop airing Trump's illegal taxpayer-funded campaign ads.
Trump is using the federal government’s checkbook to promote himself on television. Trump claims the ads promote America, not him and not his agenda. You’ve probably seen the ads already yourself. What do you think?

Are the ads campaign ads, or a public service announcement like the White House claims? The answer is right there on the screen. One ad even uses material directly repurposed from his 2024 campaign.
The Trump administration has allocated at least $20 million for the advertising effort financed through Customs and Border Protection. Making Americans pay for political messaging supporting a partisan agenda, the President and his party, is against the law.
That’s why Public Citizen is suing, asking the courts to block these ads, citing the Hatch Act which puts restrictions on taxpayer-funded propaganda and partisan political activity. Calling these spots public service announcements cannot erase their political content or justify using public resources to promote Trump.
At least $2.5 million has already gone toward airtime. Taxpayers are being forced to finance presidential self-promotion while television companies collect the revenue.
FOX, CNN, MS NOW, and other networks must stop helping the administration break the law. Network coverage of Trump’s propaganda should be kept to news programs and political commentary, not broadcast during football games and primetime TV shows. The networks have a responsibility here. They can continue to air these illegal ads or they can pull these ads today.
