STOP INHUMANE AND RACIST '1 IN 1 OUT' DEPORTATIONS

These five airline companies are facilitating inhumane deportations. Email their CEOs and tell them to stop.

These airline companies are deporting people from the UK to France under the 'one in one out' scheme, which amounts to state-sponsored human trafficking.

The people being deported on these flights came to this country seeking safety. Many of them have fled war, persecution, poverty and climate breakdown. Yet these airlines are helping enforce cruel, inhumane and racist deportations, carried out under threat of - and often involving - violence.

People who have been deported under this scheme include survivors of torture, trafficking and modern slavery, in contravention of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Many under the age of 18, including unaccompanied children, have also been detained by UK authorities and threatened with deportation under the UK-France scheme. This means that these airlines may have deported children, and may do so again in future.

The UN has also alleged that there are “serious violations of international human rights law” and "violations of the human rights of migrants and asylum seekers, including children" occurring under the scheme, calling for it to end.

Home Office contractors have used violence to force people onto these UK-France deportation flights. One person, a torture survivor, described being choked by a belt, another was rendered unconscious by the force used against him, and another said he was “nearly killed” due to the violence used to force him onto a deportation flight.

Please contact all five of these airline CEOs and Directors and tell them to stop being complicit in these cruel, racist and violent deportations.
