The safety and future of Pacific Palisades are at risk.

Developers are using state law SB 9 to push high-density projects into our wildfire-scarred, landslide-prone neighborhood—without regard for evacuation safety, geological instability, or community input. If we don’t speak up now, we could lose control over the very land we’re trying to rebuild responsibly.

We urge every resident to send this letter today to Governor Newsom, Mayor Bass, and our elected officials. Tell them: No SB 9 development in the Palisades until our safety is guaranteed. Our community is not a testing ground. We’ve lived through disaster—and we deserve a voice in our recovery.
