Protect Civilians & Stop Settler Violence in the West Bank
On July 24th, a large group of Israeli settlers entered the village of Tell, near Nablus, under the pretext of a hiking excursion. Instead, they launched an attack on homes in the village, and the IDF entered when Palestinians responded to the incursion. The ensuing violence left at least 4 Palestinians and one Israeli settler dead. The IDF then announced the start of a sweeping operation throughout the Nablus area, in an escalation that threatens to spiral out of control.
This is just one example of the unprecedented rise of settler violence against Palestinian communities in the West Bank since the start of 2026. Congress must act now to assure Palestinian communities are protected and remain on their land and in their homes.
Urge your Senators and Rep to press the Government of Israel to immediately take action to stop further attacks, prevent pogroms and further killings, and ensure the protection of Palestinians. Now is a time to call for calm, before the attack in Tell further spirals into more violence and calls for revenge.
