Stop the Andover Data Center

As of April 16, Andover Township moved forward with zoning changes that would allow data centers in designated areas, including land tied to the Route 206 Redevelopment Area. The property has been identified as land where a future project could potentially emerge under the new rules.

Residents have every reason to speak up now. Once zoning is changed, the door opens for large scale industrial development that can bring heavy energy demand, diesel backup generators, noise, traffic, and major changes to the rural character of a community people have worked hard to preserve. Andover should not become a target for speculative data center development.

We believe decisions that could reshape the future of Andover should be driven by residents, transparency, and the long term interests of the community, not rushed zoning changes or outside corporate interests. We must hold the Andover Council and Mayor accountable.
