Queensland Rail is cutting station staff across South East Queensland — leaving stations unstaffed after 1 PM on weekdays and all weekend from May.

Unstaffed stations put passengers at risk. School students, elderly passengers, people with disabilities, and anyone travelling outside peak hours will lose the safety net that station staff provide. Antisocial behaviour goes unchecked. Vulnerable people have no one to turn to.
