STOP THE DELAY: Support 370 New Homes at Sunnyvale Park Place!
Housing is under attack in Sunnyvale. Despite a unanimous 6-0 approval from the Planning Commission, the Sunnyvale Park Place project is now being stalled by an appeal designed to delay and potentially kill 370 new homes.
We cannot afford to let empty buildings sit vacant while families are priced out of our community. Sunnyvale Park Place is a model for the kind of smart, sustainable infill we need. This project will transform a largely vacant 20-acre office park into a vibrant residential neighborhood featuring:
370 Total Homes, including 329 for-sale units and 41 accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
Family-Sized Housing: Over 310 of these homes are 3- and 4-bedroom units, providing a rare path to homeownership for local families.
On-site Affordability: 49 homes are dedicated as Below Market Rate (BMR) for moderate-income households.
Climate Leadership: A 100% all-electric design with solar PV and a new multi-use trail connecting the neighborhood to Swegles Park.
The "appeal" against this project is a classic NIMBY tactic used to block progress. It’s time to tell the Sunnyvale City Council that we’ve had enough of the delays. We want homes, not vacant offices.
Send a letter today to tell the City Council to REJECT the appeal and VOTE YES on Sunnyvale Park Place!
