STOP the further criminalization! Protect Sex Workers and Trafficking Survivors: Decriminalize now!

Sex workers are beloved community members, deserving of safety, dignity, access, and the ability to exist without criminalization. On the Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, contact your representatives in their honor!

Florida’s laws and stigma create more conditions that make sex workers vulnerable: people can be arrested simply for working, pushed into isolated conditions, and unable to report assault or violence without risking arrest, outing, or retaliation. Ending violence against sex workers starts with listening to the community, not carceral “rescue” narratives that shame and punish the people they claim to help.

The solution is clear: decriminalization and community-based services reduce violence and increase safety. Tell Florida legislators to stop criminalizing consensual adult sex work and invest in survivor-led, non-judgmental, non-carceral support.
