For South Shore and South Side communities already burdened by pollution, disinvestment, and displacement, this project threatens to accelerate rising rents, environmental harm, and loss of community—while prioritizing military, corporate, and foreign-linked research interests over basic human needs like housing, healthcare, clean air, and stability. Development that ignores community voices is not progress; it is extraction.

Call on Governor JB Pritzker to oppose the Quantum Data Campus and stand with South Side residents by halting this project and redirecting resources toward community-led investment, environmental remediation without displacement, and protections that allow families to remain in their neighborhoods with dignity.
