Stop the Surveillance State - Say No to Flock Cameras in Mountain View!
Mountain View is considering spending over $90,000 to install dozens of cameras throughout the city. Police will have access to the data for at least 30 days and will have the capacity to reconstruct movement of people throughout our city. Someone thought the Tom Cruise movie Minority Report was a how-to guide instead of a cautionary tale. Send a letter to Mountain View City Council - tell them our resources are better spent on serving our community, nor surveilling it.

City Council will be considering this item at their meeting on Tuesday, May 28. Join at Council chambers in downtown Mountain View or via Zoom to speak your mind to Council after sending a letter!
