The Montgomery County Council will soon vote on a two NEW resolutions that will allow “small" cell tower installations just 30 feet from your home.

WHAT IS GOING ON

We just found out that on January 25, 2022, the Montgomery County Council is poised to vote on two NEW resolutions that will limit your ability to stop cell towers near your home and subsidize wireless companies.

TAKE ACTION

Write to all County Council members with our one minute letter writing tool to tell them to pause these resolutions until they evaluate the implications of a major new court ruling EHT et al v. FCC on cell tower safety limits.

This summer the Montgomery County Council passed a new zoning amendment- (ZTA) 19-07- which allows “small” cell towers to be installed  in our front yards with:

• NO notice to residents

• NO public hearing

• NO opportunity for community engagement
