Support Affordable Housing in Pasadena!

Rosemead Family Apartments is a proposed 133-home, 100% affordable housing development at 600 N. Rosemead Boulevard in East Pasadena. The project would serve working families, special needs residents, and community members displaced by the Eaton Fire.

It adapts an existing office building into 51 homes and constructs a new five-story building on the adjacent surface parking lot — enlivening underutilized commercial space into new homes for families.

This Tuesday, April 14, the Pasadena Design Commission will hold its final public hearing on this project and decide its fate.

Organized opposition from nearby homeowner groups is expected to turn out in force. Housing Action Coalition are asking pro-housing community members to send a letter of support – and show up on Tuesday – to make sure Pasadena is doing its part in addressing the region’s housing crisis.

Send a letter of support to the Pasadena Design Commission. You can personalize our template or send it as-is — either way, your voice makes a difference.
