Illinois is the only state with Adult-Use Cannabis that allows law enforcement to stop and search drivers solely for the odor of cannabis. The state also recently canceled funding for the Let's Talk Cannabis Stash Bag program, which helped keep Illinoisans safe by distributing free odor-proof, child-proof bags.
