Support Emergency Relief Funding for Pennsylvania Growers
The April freeze tore through fruit crops across Pennsylvania. Dead blossoms, bare branches, and in many orchards, a season's work lost in three cold nights.
This has not only affected fruit growers, but processors and other farms that re-sell fruit from their local orchard.
Governor Shapiro has asked the Pennsylvania Senate and House for $20 million in emergency assistance for fruit growers and processors.
We need to let our Senators and Representatives know that this funding is essential and urgent.
