For the past 5 years, the Hayes Valley community has come together to support a new vision for Hayes Street: A promenade for people to gather, shop, and meet in the heart of Hayes Valley.

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the SFMTA Board will consider whether to take the next step and extend the Hayes Promenade's weekend activation permit for another year.

Send a letter of support today to tell the SFMTA Board and City Leaders that there is big community support for making more space for people in one of the densest neighborhoods in the city.
