We need your help to make sure Oakland City Council supports new homes at 1431 Franklin Street in Oakland on December 19th! Send a letter to City Councilmembers in support of upholding the Planning Commission's unanimous approval of 381 new homes in Downtown Oakland.

Given our housing shortage, Oakland needs new homes, especially in transit hubs, like Downtown. 1431 Franklin Street’s residential design was approved at the Oakland Planning Commission because it delivers for Oakland:

• Creates 381 new homes for Oaklanders, including 39 subsidized affordable homes;

• Supports ridership for BART and AC Transit in Downtown Oakland;

• Ensures local businesses see more foot traffic
