The proposed project at 1501 Lucas Valley Road would create 36 new homes in Marin County, including 5 affordable homes for low- and very low-income households, on a site that Marin County itself identified for housing in its state-mandated Housing Element.

Despite already planning for housing here and analyzing environmental impacts through the Housing Element process, the County is now requiring an additional expensive and time-consuming environmental review that could delay or jeopardize the project. Marin is in a housing crisis, and we cannot afford to block homes on sites already designated for growth.
