We need your support this Tuesday at City Council.  Mayor Davis and Councilmembers Torosis and Zwick are asking the City Council to the support the Justice for Renters Act, which has qualified for the November 2024 ballot. This act would repeal the Costa-Hawkins Rental Housing Act, which currently prohibits cities from passing rent control protections on housing units built after 1995.  

With the growing homelessness and housing affordability crisis, it is critical that Santa Monica takes a stand, as it has so often before, in protecting renters.
