Many districts in New Jersey are preparing to navigate unforeseen, drastic cuts in school aid because of P.L 2018, c.67, more commonly known as S-2. Many of these districts have already lost millions of dollars in funding, which threatens to negatively impact students and simply cannot sustain further loss. S2434 and A3452 would provide a tax levy cap adjustment for certain school districts experiencing reduction in State school aid and allow them to responsibly budget.

These bills have moved through Committees and now need a full vote in the Senate and Assembly.
