Support the SAFE Bellevue Proposal
Bellevue is facing a street safety crisis!
In 2025, a record-high 41 people lost their life or were seriously injured on Bellevue streets. This included 27 people in motor vehicles, 9 people walking or rolling, and 5 people on bikes. Every single one of these people is loved by somebody. Every single one of these people should have been kept safe, because Streets Are For Everyone. Further delay on street safety just risks further loss of life — we need action NOW.
The SAFE Bellevue coalition has developed an ambitious proposal that moves with urgency to keep everybody on Bellevue's streets safe and moving, no matter how they get around. Now we're asking Bellevue City Council to fund it in their upcoming budget. Let them know that you support bold action on street safety!
