Ask your State Legislators to support S. 1846 or H. 2706, An Act relative to solar power and the green economy.

According to the Sierra Club's website, S.1846/H.2706 is a bill in the Massachusetts State House that would "set a goal of 17.5% of Mass. electricity from solar by 2025, 25% by 2030, and eliminate net metering caps." It would also boost the Renewable Portfolio Standard (the regulatory mandate to increase energy production from renewable sources relative to fossil fuels or nuclear sources). Many State Senators and Representatives have already co-sponsored these bills (>30 on S.1846, almost 60 on H.2706).

Please ask your Senator and Representative to support S.1846/H.2706, and jumpstart Massachusetts' transition to renewable energy.
