Last year, our community proved that Austin Street could be the calm, vibrant downtown we all want it to be. On September 14th, we held an Open Streets trial, and the event was a MASSIVE success.

The event proved we need more space for people to relax and shop on Austin St and a safer, better, more economically resilient space without the endless gridlock. This year we're going for it again, four Sundays, August 30th through Sept 20th. But we need your help!

The Open Streets application has advanced past the initial stage, but it is not guaranteed yet! We need to ensure our elected leaders know the community supports it. Help us make sure this year is the year we finally get an OFFICIAL Open Street on Austin Street!
