A strong federal bill to tackle our mounting plastic pollution crisis needs your support. The Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act (S. 3127 / H.R.6053) that was recently reintroduced by Sen. Merkley and Rep. Huffman would tackle the root causes of plastic pollution by reducing the amount of plastic we produce, use once and throw away, banning polluting chemical recycling, and holding polluters responsible for their negative impacts on our health, climate, and environment.
