Support the Data Center Moratorium

Send a short email in support of the Data Center Moratorium!

Data centers are not currently regulated by the Minneapolis zoning code. Twelve or more data centers are being proposed for downtown Minneapolis. While this moratorium has an exemption for downtown, it will prevent data centers from being built in all other parts of the city for at least six months. The Minneapolis City Council will be holding a vote on Thursday (6/25) to finalize the moratorium. This will create a 6 month time period in which we can engage with the city to create robust regulations for all new Data Centers that help to preserve our neighborhoods for more neighbors.

Send an email to your city council representative TODAY & WEDNESDAY ahead of this vote on Thursday!

Additionally, you're invited to attend the City Council meeting on Thursday 6/25 at 9:30am to show your support.
