SIGN ON: Support the Mendes Budget for Nashville's Working Families!
This Tuesday, June 12, Nashville’s Metro Council faces a choice: they will choose to support our union siblings working as teachers, firefighters, and public servants with a pro-worker budget from Councilmember Bob Mendes, or they will choose another budget that leaves workers and their families behind.
Which budget do you think is better for Nashville's working families?
Councilmember Mendes's budget raises the minimum wage for public school workers to $15/hr, gives Nashville’s public schools a much-needed $12.5M, and provides delivers STEP and cost-of-living adjustments for public sector workers that make our city run. No alternative comes close to doing as much for working families in these difficult times.
Click the "START WRITING BUTTON" to automatically email our Metro Council asking them to support the Mendes budget and to continue fighting for Nashville's working families.
In solidarity,
