Support the Stillwater Avenue Bikeway

After deadlocking a few weeks ago, the City Council will be revisiting the Stillwater Avenue Bikeway project on September 6th. Now is the time to make sure that our representatives on the Council know that their constituents support safer streets for everyone!

The Stillwater Avenue Bikeway is a proposed bicycle project in Saint Paul's far East Side that would implement both dedicated bicycle lanes on Stillwater Ave, and a shared-use bicycle route on a combination of Hazel St, Case Ave, Algonquin Ave, and Ruth St. This latter facility would connect the Furness Pkwy trail on the north to existing bicycle lanes on Ruth St south of Minnehaha Ave. We consider this an important connection, especially as the East Side sees more bike projects in coming years.
