Support the Strike: Stand for Fair Wages at AAJC
Today, on March 11, 2026, the members of Advancing Justice | AAJC's Union are on strike.
After 1.5 years of bargaining, we are still fighting for a first contract and guaranteed fair wages. Management has failed to meet Union demands for fair wages and are proposing language that would cap annual pay increases at 3%, with most employees receiving less than 2.5% increases per year.
Management has repeatedly denied reasonable Union proposals around Salary, including current Union terms that differ from Management’s own proposal by less than $85k total over three years. This is especially egregious given recent spending by AAJC, which spent over $800,000 on external consultants in 2024 alone, and has continued recent promotions and growth of executive leadership.
Throughout bargaining, the Collective has significantly scaled back their initial proposals in an effort to reach agreement, but meaningful movement from Management has not followed. Workers are standing together to make clear: a contract that falls short of our fair and sustainable terms is not acceptable.
