RBC, (we) knew you were trouble when you walked in.

RBC, or the Royal Bank of Canada, is Canada’s largest fossil fuel funder, and the primary sponsor of Taylor Swift’s Canadian Eras Tour. RBC also funds projects like the Coastal GasLink and Trans Mountain pipelines that cross through unceded Indigenous territories, and lack free, prior and informed consent from Indigenous nations.

Projects like Coastal GasLink and Trans Mountain pollute Indigenous land, water, and air without consent, and have brought armed invasion of with RCMP armed with sniper rifles and attack dogs violently assaulting Indigenous land defenders.

This conflict is being directly fuelled by Bay Street banks like RBC. We refuse to let RBC greenwash its complicity in violence by sponsoring Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

Taylor’s message has always been to stand up for what’s right. That’s why we’re mobilizing as Swifties to tell RBC once and for all: respect Indigenous rights and stop funding the climate crisis.
