Tax Elon Musk and protect democracy!
Elon Musk, the richest person in the world, is the largest known donor in the midterms after putting $276 million behind Republican candidates between July and October.1
The New York Times called Musk's giant cash dump a "midterm rescue mission for Republicans." Musk has spent a total of $442 million in this election cycle, surpassing his spend during the 2023 - 2024 cycle when he backed Trump.2
Trump's 2017 tax law and his big ugly budget last year handed billionaires and big corporations even deeper tax cuts, enabling people like Elon Musk to continue building their already massive wealth. Congress must raise taxes on the rich to stop the dangerous, outsized role the ultra-wealthy play in our elections.
Tell Congress: TAX ELON MUSK! Pass legislation to undo Trump's big ugly tax cuts for the ultra-rich.
Musk spent the beginning of Trump's second term destroying government agencies, services, and benefits. DOGE gutted Social Security, hobbled critical parts of the federal government, slashed health and science investments, and inflicted untold damage on our country. Now, he's spending unlimited sums to keep the far-right ideology of DOGE and MAGA in power.
It's time to pass legislation to make millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations pay their fair share. Senator Elizabeth Warren's Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act would end Trump's handouts to the ultra-rich and raise taxes on households worth more than $50 million.3 Senator Bernie Sanders's Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act would establish a 5% annual wealth tax on the 938 billionaires in America, and use that money to provide direct support to working families.4
Our lawmakers must stand up for working people and free and fair elections, and raise taxes on the ultra-rich.
Send a message: Tell Congress to tax the rich and protect democracy. Pass legislation to END tax breaks for millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations.
