Tell Beverly Hills: Follow the Law and Approve 200 New Homes at 8844 Burton Way

Beverly Hills is one of the wealthiest cities in Southern California — and one of the worst at building its fair share of housing. On March 4, the City Council has a chance to change that.

A proposed 200-unit apartment building at 8844 Burton Way — including 22 affordable homes for lower-income residents — was illegally rejected by the Beverly Hills Planning Commission. Now it's going before the City Council on appeal. California's state housing department has already warned Beverly Hills that a denial would violate state law and could result in major fines, court-ordered approvals, and loss of local zoning control.

Please send a message to the Beverly Hills City Council urging them to vote yes.
