Assembly Bill 8 and Assembly Bill 564 are two bills currently in the California State Senate that are looking to roll back Proposition 64 funding that goes towards childcare, youth, environmental and law enforcement programs.

If these bills pass as written, then they will cut $180 million annually to important programs to extend a tax vacation for the cannabis industry.

These are funds that are meant for childcare, Elevate Youth California and environmental restoration projects throughout the state.
