Hollybush is an ancient Riparian woodlands, with 12 Veteran trees, which are recorded in the Woodland Trust's inventory for ancient trees. If this woodland is destroyed it cannot be replaced, it will devastate the biodiversity of the area, release sequestered carbon, kill the health of the river and it's ecology and increase the chances of flooding further down stream.
