Tell Canadian Leaders: Protect 165 Manufacturing Jobs at Woodward Canada

Woodward Canada’s decision to close its Fisher Drive manufacturing facility in Peterborough, Ontario, and relocate operations to Poland by August 2027 will result in the loss of 165 skilled manufacturing jobs, including the jobs of 40 IAM Union members, and weaken Canada’s aerospace manufacturing capacity.

The facility produces specialized Electro-Mechanical systems for aviation , relying on the expertise and dedication of Canadian workers who have helped build a strong operation over many years.

This campaign calls on Canadian political leaders to step up, protect good manufacturing jobs, support workers and their families, and take action to ensure critical aerospace production and skilled expertise remain in Canada.

Through this letter campaign, IAM members and supporters are urging decision-makers to defend Canadian manufacturing and stand with the workers impacted by this closure.
