In August 2024, Capital Pride put out a statement recognizing the ongoing genocide against Palestinians, refusing pinkwashing and silence, and committing to further action to support Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions.

Last week, we found out that this statement has been quietly pulled from Capital Pride’s website and social media.

Capital Pride must reaffirm its position of solidarity with Palestine, and must take real actions to refuse complicity in Israel’s escalating genocide, apartheid, and devastation.
