Seattle City Council is currently in Phase 2 of our city's Comprehensive Plan development, a once-a-decade opportunity to plan for additional housing and better access to public transit.

In Phase 1, City Council took important steps towards a more ambitious Comprehensive Plan, but more work needs to be done to meaningfully impact housing affordability and take real action on reducing our climate impact. In Phase 2, Council is zoning our new Urban and Neighborhood Centers and our Transit Corridors. We need to make sure the plan they pass takes both our housing affordability crisis and our climate crisis seriously.
