On November 14, 2025, Rep. Tlaib introduced H.Res.876 to recognize the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

This resolution declares that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza based on extensive findings from UN bodies, genocide scholars, and human rights organizations, and asserts that the U.S. has legal obligations under the Genocide Convention to help prevent and punish such crimes.

It calls on the U.S. to halt arms transfers, support international investigations, act at the UN, and ensure humanitarian aid reaches Palestinians.
