Stop Congress from deregulating AI

TELL Congress: Don't Make AI the Wild West

Should Elon Musk be allowed to deploy dangerous Robotaxis anywhere he wants without oversight or rules?

That's a real possibility—and it gets worse.

The tech industry has kept Congress from passing federal regulations on AI, but states from Alabama to California have stepped up. It's not partisan—no one wants unaccountable tech giants making their own rules.

But Trump wants to please his billionaire backers, so he's pressuring Congress to sneak language into the defense spending bill that would block state and local laws from regulating AI.

If this passes, AI will become more lawless than the Wild West. Broligarchs like Elon Musk will be free to roll out creepy chatbots, untested Robotaxis and dangerous surveillance technologies with no oversight. Depending on the final language, it could even stop local governments from restricting where AI data centers are built.

Americans already beat this once. Trump tried to pass this in his billionaire tax giveaway bill, but Americans spoke up and the Senate voted 99 to 1 to strip it from the bill. Now we need to stop it a second time.

Contact your Senators and Representative NOW and tell them NOT to let Trump use the military budget as a back door to deregulate AI.
