The Court’s decision tearing down voting rights is a massive attack on our democracy. The ruling will disenfranchise thousands of Black and Brown voters across the country, open the floodgates for gerrymandering, and effectively rig the midterm elections in favor of Republicans.

It’s yet another step in a political system that keeps taking power away from everyday people and handing more of it to the wealthy, powerful, and well-connected.

Since their ruling in Louisiana v. Callais, our response has been unignorable. But now is not the time to slow down. The job is not done until we get real court reform and change the system that’s been rigged against us.

We need to make sure Congress hears from us over and over again. Every time they get a report from their staff, it should include messages from their constituents demanding action.

When thousands of people act together, it sends a clear message: We’re paying attention, and we expect a plan.
