The Supreme Court just announced its final rulings of June. One attacks the rights of trans kids. The other opens our democracy to even more billionaire money.

The campaign finance case the Court ruled on today directly affects the balance of power in this country. It’s the single biggest gift this Court could hand to the wealthy donors and dark money interests who built its majority in the first place.

The ruling will shape elections for a generation. Combined with the Court’s attack on voting rights in Louisiana v. Callais, it amounts to directly stealing the voices of everyday people and handing their power to wealthy elites.

As if that weren’t enough, the Court told a pair of young people who just wanted to play on a team with their friends that they didn’t have the right.

The Roberts Court has been transformed into a political machine. It’s not looking out for We the People—it’s representing the extremist elites pulling the strings in the background.

We need a Supreme Court that is structurally reformed and genuinely accountable, not one that warps our system to serve the powerful. United for Democracy is leading the people-powered mass movement that will not stop demanding reform until it’s achieved.

We the People can still fight, win, and take back our power. But we need to force Congress to stand with us, and not the wealthy extremists warping our system every day.
