Tell Congress Members to Pass HR2850 about the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons
The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, or the Nuclear Weapon Ban Treaty, is the first legally binding international agreement to comprehensively prohibit nuclear weapons with the ultimate goal being their total elimination. In honor of the victims, past and present, of nuclear weapons, the United Nations officially adopted the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons into international law on January 22nd, after 50 countries ratified the Treaty.
