Tell Congress: Urge HHS to Include Children in Long COVID Action

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently shared new plans to address Long COVID. These plans focus on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment, and promise a long-term national effort shaped by input from patients, caregivers, medical experts, and advocates.

However, children were not specifically mentioned. Nearly six million children in the U.S. have Long COVID. Their symptoms and needs are different from adults, and without clear plans for them, they risk being left out of care and support.

We’re asking Congress to make sure HHS includes children in every part of the national Long COVID response. Families and allies can take action now to help make sure kids aren’t forgotten.
