The City is preparing to sell off a huge nearly 3-acre parcel of land in South Lake Union. We think this is a huge missed opportunity to develop a large amount of affordable housing on a publicly-owned site in the heart of Seattle. By selling off public assets like surplus land to the highest bidder, we the people lose the ability to shape our own city. Please take a moment to email Mayor Durkan and the City Council, urging them to consider alternatives and prioritize the housing crisis.
