Tell Fetterman: Keep ICE out of our streets
As ICE wages war on cities across the country, from Los Angeles to New York to Minneapolis, the multi-racial working-class majority of the United States is taking to the streets in protest. Just today, we saw another extrajudicial murder by ICE in Minneapolis, right after a historic general strike where hundreds of thousands of people demanded an end to ICE’s violence.
While ten billion dollars for ICE just passed the House of Representatives, the Senate also has to vote on that budget for ICE funding to be renewed. The Senate will vote this Friday, January 30th, and it can't pass without 60 votes. That means it needs 10 Democratic Senators' votes to pass.
We need our Pennsylvania Senator — John Fetterman — to commit to voting NO.
