Florida HB 7 also known as the 6-week abortion ban bill was filed by State Rep. Jenna Persons-Mulicka (R-78). It is a dangerous bill that will make Florida the most anti-choice state in the country. We must come together immediately to stop this bill from advancing.

Here's what the bill does:
  • Bans abortions after six weeks
  • Prohibits telehealth providers to use telehealth to provide abortions
  • Prohibits the use of state funds for a person to travel to another state to receive services to support abortion
  • Requires the Florida Department of Health (DOH) to report to Governor & Legislature information relating to Florida Pregnancy Care Network, Inc. This organization is composed of providers that provide pregnancy and women's reproductive health services, including testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in some cases.

The bill is being heard Thursday (TODAY) during the 8am-10:30am Florida House Health and Human Services Committee agenda.

This is the final chance we have to have our voices heard. The bill could be sent to the full House for a floor vote as soon as this Friday at 11:30am.
