In order to achieve our climate goals and maximize the impact of federal climate legislation, we need to accelerate the build-out of clean-energy transmission infrastructure. This bill, which is authored by California State Senator Mike McGuire, requires more coordination and reporting for electrical transmission planning and permitting among three state agencies.
