Tell Governor Cuomo & the PSC: I’m Striking! I’ve joined the Gas Bill Strike and won’t pay for the North Brooklyn Pipeline!

Background:After over a year and a half of community protest against the North Brooklyn fracked gas pipeline, the New York State Department of Public Service (DPS) and National Grid have come up with a proposal to raise our monthly bills to pay for the pipeline that we don’t even need.

Governor Cuomo’s Public Service Commission (PSC) will likely vote on the gas bill hike to pay for the pipeline at their meeting on August 12, 2021.

We need to tell Cuomo and his PSC that we refuse to pay for National Grid’s racist fracked gas pipeline. If they’re real climate leaders, they will listen to the people, the climate science, and the law, to reject National Grid’s rate hike for fracked gas projects.
