Tell Governor DeWine to Convene the Ohio Redistricting Commission

We are less than three months away from the deadline for Ohio to approve new state legislative districts, and the Ohio Redistricting Commission has yet to meet. Gov. DeWine has the sole authority to convene the commission.

Write an email to Governor DeWine to say that the time to convene the Ohio Redistricting Commission is NOW.  

The Ohio Redistricting Commission will LITERALLY shape our state’s future when they redraw our Ohio House and Ohio Senate districts in four months. Gov. DeWine cannot continue to kick the can down the road and hope voting rights advocates don’t notice. The Commission needs to urgently convene and start holding planning meetings so we can hit the ground running once census data is released. This is a once in a decade opportunity for our state to have fair districts that truly represent the people of Ohio.

Gov. DeWine must convene the commission so we can begin this monumental task.
