Tell Governor Sherrill, We Need NJ To Say NO to NESE (again)
Williams Transco wanted approval for a dangerous gas compressor station in Franklin Township, right in the heart of an overburdened community and NJDEP did just that. Williams Transco also wanted water permit approvals even though their proposal has not changed and would still devastate water quality in NJ. The proposal still threatens sacred water, air, health and safety-especially in a time of drought and climate crisis. NJ's Governor Sherrill has the power to stop it; NJ must hear from watershed residents with reverence for sacred Earth.
If the Tidelands Resource Council, NJDEP and Governor Sherrill hear loud public opposition, they can deny approval. Speaking up and out demonstrates that our communities are paying attention and we will not accept more pollution, more risk, more injustice to all living ecosystems and species who call NJ home. Join us and spread the word!
