It's our human nature to do everything in our power to keep our loved ones safe, no matter where we call home. Take 30 seconds to demand that the Hennepin County Sheriff, Dawanna Witt, immediately STOP coddling and giving material support to Trump's invading agents and shock troops.

For two months, Trump's masked kidnappers have occupied our city, violently abducting our neighbors from job sites, churches, courthouses, schools, and hospitals. His untrained, undisciplined "immigration enforcement" agents routinely break traffic laws, swap out their license plates, cover their faces, conceal their identities, break through doorways of homes without valid judicial warrants, and intimidate community members at gunpoint when they show up, an bring violence day in and day out - up to shooting and murdering our neighbors. They have brought a complete onslaught of terror to Minnesota.

Shamefully, Hennepin County Sheriffs have been harassing, intimidating, arresting and coming out in force to assist ICE, by using force against neighbors who are working to protect their neighborhoods and community from Trump's agents. For example, on December 15th, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) deployed and enormous force to protect an ICE abduction near Karmel Mall where untrained ICE agents dragged a pregnant woman across the ground. Dozens of armed Sheriffs responded to support them as community looked on in horror. A few days later, on December 26, HCSO arrested an ICE Watch Community Responder from their car after ICE agents carrying out an abduction called to claim that they were being "harassed." On January 30th, Sheriff's Deputies brutalized community members standing at the Whipple Federal Building, tackling, assaulting and pepper spraying our neighbors point blank range.

Instead of protecting our community and her jurisdiction, Sheriff Dawanna Witt has weaponized her department and Hennepin County officers against the community itself. HCSO is openly choosing to side with Trump and his outside agitators, over Twin Cities residents facing attack and abductions on the streets of our cities.

Children are terrified to go to school. Sick people are dying because they are not safe to go to the hospital. Families are going without food because they are scared to leave their homes. Local businesses are shuttering because our neighbors are petrified to leave their homes.  

No resident of Hennepin County should live in fear that they’ll be ripped away from their family. These conditions are unacceptable, and it is absolutely immoral and corrupt to have local Sheriffs accelerating and supporting Trump's terror. The people of Minnesota are at a breaking point and will not stand for it!
