HB 2293 is out of committee, and we expect a full House floor vote soon. HB 2293 seeks to remove federally matched funds to the Oklahoma Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS), which would reduce TRS funding by $28 million each year. This legislation will harm the funded status of the plan and will hurt our state’s teachers.
